We're excited to launch our new blog! We will keep you updated on everything that is happening with Eyenaemia. This will also give our team the opportunity to share their thoughts on medical technology, start ups and healthcare.
For those who don't know what Eyenaemia is, Eyenaemia is a non-invasive, easily accessible screening tool for anaemia. Eyenaemia was driven by our passion to help over two billion people, particularly in developing countries, access a cheap and non-invasive screening solution to aid and prevent the onset of anaemia - a deficiency in the number or quality of red blood cells. Technology was at the heart of enabling this.
We entered the 2014 Imagine Cup, an international student technology competition run by Microsoft, and were the 2014 World Champions. Winning the Imagine Cup has helped Eyenaemia move one step closer to making our passion a reality.
